Macedonian community representatives from across Australia gathered at the Macedonian Embassy in Canberra to mark the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of Macedonia and to welcome the newly appointed Ambassador, H.E. Stojance Kitanoski.
Representing MOCMV at the commemorative event were delegates Dejan Zmejkoski and Robert Kostovski, who joined members and representatives of the Macedonian community in Australia in celebrating this important national milestone.
The gathering also provided an opportunity for community representatives to meet Ambassador Kitanoski and extend a warm welcome as he begins his diplomatic service in Australia.
The event brought together Macedonians from different parts of Australia, highlighting the strength, unity and enduring connection of the Macedonian community across the country.
Special appreciation goes to Mr Petar Chulev for organising the event and creating an opportunity for Macedonian representatives from across Australia to come together, celebrate this significant anniversary and welcome the new Ambassador.
The 35th anniversary of independence was marked in a spirit of unity, pride and commitment to strengthening the bonds between the Macedonian community in Australia and the homeland.
